G ood evening parents, Welcome to an early post for this week...a big day tomorrow down at Shark Park this week so I want to make sure that I am super organised! I hope all the games and activities went well this weekend and everyone stayed injury free!  Ella has managed a game of hockey on Friday, a full game in the ruck and forward and she's backing it up to bench for the women tomorrow.  Despite not training all week, the Pres has once again got the call up to play Ressies...him and Ella have a bet going on who is going to kick the most goals tomorrow!  I put Toby on a plane this morning for a school trip to Canberra and the house is quiet and the kitchen is clean! Good afternoon, What a day?! How nice is the sunshine...I have actually gone full adult and put washing on the line...yay! I hope everyone enjoyed the start back to sport this weekend...hopefully your team didn't start off with a bye.  SWFL Update - A tough day out in Collie yesterday for our senior teams...the women had an early start to the day to facilitate Collie's Ladies Day but we weren't able to bring home the points this time.  The Colts had a great game and managed the win in a spirited game before our very own Mark Delane suited up for the second week in a row alongside our other son Nathan 'Gilly' Gillespie...who singlehandedly held the back line together in a tough game of 16 V 16...Votes from me Gilly!  Despite their low numbers they went on a spree booting 106 points (16.10) to 22 (3.4) from Collie in according to the Pres what was a "good percentage booster". He also kicked his second goal in two weeks but dished off at least 6 that I saw! ...

Good evening parents, Welcome back to the school term...this time last year I was enjoying the warmth of Exmouth and spotting turtles in full relax mode ready to take my first lot of Long Service Leave...what a difference for this term! After a break that has been spent mostly nursing my sick kids (and myself) back to some health after this horrid flu we did manage to get away to the bright lights of Melbs to eat and tram our way around the city!  We were lucky enough to be at the game between Melbourne and Brisbane last night and it was a cracker!! We were deep in Lion's territory but we celebrated hard each of the Melbourne goals...Ella is going to move to move to Melbourne to lean into her Melbs life and support Brisbane...she was not thrilled with the outcome! A lovely time to recharge and reconnect with my family ready for another big term! I highly recommend the MCG Tour and Shark Fin Inn for dim sum if that's your jam!
